Furniture+ Insurance covers accidental damage, accidental staining, spillages, scratches, dents, rips, fabric and frame damage, and structural defects arising after your manufacturer’s guarantee has ended — all up to your sum insured.
Cover applies to sudden and unforeseen incidents. Gradual damage and wear and tear are not covered.
Your cover starts from the date your furniture is delivered to your home. When you purchase your policy in-store, you’ll receive an initial Insurance Certificate confirming your cover and expected delivery date.
Once your furniture has been delivered and we’ve been notified, you’ll receive an amended Insurance Certificate confirming your actual Effective Date.
Please hold onto both documents — they form part of your policy record.
No standard excess applies to Furniture+ Insurance. Any excess specific to your policy will be clearly stated in your Insurance Certificate.
